Hear From Our Members

"Becoming a member has helped me feel like I am part of a family. The emails and information help me stay connected."
-Sook, a parent

"As an active member of Community Living York South, my son Anthony has been fortunate and privileged to participate in many events and activities that have helped him grow into a confident, happy young man. Thank you for all your support from the bottom of my heart and please continue to do the fabulous work that you do. WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR LIVES!"
-Maria, a parent

"Five years ago I enrolled my son in the Community Living Summer Camp. From the beginning it was like coming home. To a place of acceptance, kindness, compassion and understanding. But most all FUN. Being able to go to camp and have it centered around their needs and abilities, as opposed to trying to attend a regular summer camp program and be integrated and constantly trying to adapt the program to my son’s needs. As a parent, I can relax and know that he is happy, well taken care of and I can have a break also."
-Parent from Markham Camp

"I can’t wait to come to camp and I want to come back next year."
-from camper
